How does the holiday reading list work?
Pick the country you are travelling to and we show two or three children's books connected to that place, chosen for local authors and a real sense of place. Each has links to find it at Bookshop.org or Amazon.
Are the books by local authors?
Wherever possible, yes. We lead with authors and illustrators from the destination. Where a famous book about a place was written by an author from elsewhere, we include it but label it honestly as set in the country rather than local.
